Larry Blackshear (Lorenzo) is a Second Language Learner (L2) with a passion for language education and multilingualism. Growing up in Aurora, Colorado, Lorenzo’s spent his entire life enriched in diverse languages, and graduated from the University of Colorado Denver with his Bachelor of Arts in Spanish Language, Literature, and Culture, with an emphasis in Second Language Acquisition (SLA). In his free time, Lorenzo enjoys staying active and spending time with his Husky, Kirby.
As Founder & Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Multilingual Project, Lorenzo works to research and align language education and workforce systems, increase access to language accessibility, and promote awareness on issues impacting multilingual communities.
